About This Spot
Nestled just a stone’s throw from the breezy Bridlington coast, Pier 6 Boardwalk Cafe unfolds as a quietly inviting spot where the gentle hum of seaside life sets the pace. Whether you arrive chased by the tides or seeking a refuge from a busy day, the air here feels easygoing, carrying faint salt and the warm murmur of friendly chatter. The large windows invite the shifting light of the sea inside, while outdoor seating catches sunbeams and the occasional whistle of the wind, crafting a relaxed canvas for moments both bright and unhurried.

Behind the scenes, care is evident — from accommodating dietary needs with confidence to presenting plates that promise both heartiness and fresh simplicity.
The menu feels like an affectionate nod to coastal and café classics, thoughtfully prepared and easy to savor. From hearty breakfasts that quietly set the tone for the day, to indulgent gluten-free treats that surprise with their richness, the offerings are made to suit different moods and moments. Whether it’s a creamy coffee shared alongside a toasted teacake or a portion of fish and chips enjoyed outside with a sea view, each bite carries the kind of familiarity that lingers beyond the meal.
Here, the atmosphere embraces those who appreciate relaxed, down-to-earth dining, with the gentle buzz of satisfied diners filling the air. It’s the kind of place where attention to detail and small touches create an experience that feels less like eating out and more like coming home to a welcoming table.

A rare treat of fish and chips followed by a very indulgent dessert ... all, might I add, being gluten free! Excellent service from start to finish, a warm welcome, a good menu to choose from including a gluten free one. Food was quickly served, hot and very, very tasty indeed. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was a really nice atmosphere. There was seating inside and outside, I opted to stay inside; the outside area has great views. I've added photos of the puffin has been 'on show' here, too.

Food was tasty, freshly prepared. On a nice sunny day there is a good courtyard dinning area with sea views

Excellent gluten free options available much to my wife’s delight as she suffers from celiac disease. Very pleasant staff and are well aware of the need for no cross contamination. Portions were adequate and served quickly, highly recommended.

Picture of clear plates as the burgers were hot and I wasn't wasting time as I was too hungry but the burger and chips my Mam and I had were delicious. Close to the seaside with big widows to see the sea. Clean and tidy even on Easter Monday we were lucky to get a table as it was busy.

Once again, I visited Pier 6 Boardwalk Café in Bridlington and was delighted! Their gluten‑free fish is outstanding – perfectly crispy golden batter with tender, juicy fish inside. Chips are fresh and cooked to perfection. They have a dedicated Gluten Free Menu at the same price as regular fish dishes Big plus for using a separate fryer and utensils, and for the super friendly staff. Highly recommended for a tasty, safe, and reasonably priced gluten‑free meal!

We came here as it was one of the few fish and chip restaurants with gluten free options. All 4 of us agreed the food and service was great. Would have lost a star just for the pricing which really is “seaside tourist” but they are probably paying extortionate rent. The fish and chip, scampi, mushy peas platter (first pic) was circa £17.00. Normal plate fish and chips (second photo) was circa £14.50.
